Why Have Me Read Your Story?

As a lifelong reader, I knew I wanted to pursue story in a more meaningful way. I received an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction in January of 2026. The program had a clear teaching component that gave me the skills, experience, and advice from longtime industry professionals on how to not only become a better writer myself, but also how to turn others into better writers.

As a professional beta reader for over four years, I have read excerpts, short stories, and full-length manuscripts from a range of writers across many genres. I understand what strengthens and weakens a story and can pinpoint and communicate what elements need to be built up or improved upon.

I have experience writing and critiquing pitches, bios, and query letters, and can help you write and present the best version of you and your story to agents and publishers.
